Abstract Introduction: There are risk factors causing musculoskeletal disorders such as working in an inappropriate body condition , rout in and repetitive movements of the body compelling workers beyond their stamina and maximum strength and no time for recovery and rehabilitation . This study was carried out to evaluate risk factors in musculoskeletal disorders through REBA method & the relationship between musculoskeletal disorders and REBA method in occupational groups working in old-fashioned brick-making factories. Methods and materials: This cross-sectional (descriptive analytic) study was carried out among two hundred twenty eight brick workers in brick-making factory of gonabad. Their occupational conditions have been observed & studied by REBA method which is a rapid & complete way to assess different parts of the body moreover , the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorder was estimated through NORDIC questionnaire. All datas were analyzed by SPSS statistical soft ware through k-squaer statistical trial (examination). Results: Age med and history of ones employments were 32.65 ± 9.7 and 6.24 ± 5.1, relatively. Among workers suffer from back pains was at the highest prevalence rate of 67.5 and lowest prevalence of ankle (9.6% ) was seen. It showed significant link between back disorders and lower part of rear butox in respect to statistical analysis (p<0.05). Conclution: Most of ergonomic position in workers needed modification (above 4 score, REBA method) and therefore the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders was quite high, we concluded to modify work stations in which is limited to human body capability; further more, evaluation of performance with same repetitive movements and lifting- cargo performance in order to evaluate the biomechanical pressure in back, to decrease extremely the conflictions.
