Abstract

Abstract Background and aim: Today, with the industrialization of societies and the change in the way people live, many diseases, including cardiovascular disease and cancers have spread. Heart diseases are risky and deadly in these days. It is demonstrated that exercise has good effect on various systems of human bady like cardiovascular, hematological, and muscular skeletal systems. Physical activity generally causes changing in the body including the peripheral blood erythrocytes. Even excersises tests are used to determine many diseases and problems. Many researchers consider the homeostasis system and its changes following exercise. In previous researches, the effect of physical activity on the amount of red blood cells count, hemoglobin, transferrin, iron and hematocrit indicated changes in these factors. It has also been reported that physical activity increases platelet activity, decreases platelet aggregation and adhesion, increases parasympathetic control, and reduces heart sympathetic control. Although there is much progress in different aspects of the effects of exercises on hematological system, few studies denote the effect of aerobic on blood coagolation factors. The purpose of this study is to answer the question if a selected program of aerobic exercise changes in hematological parameters of blood and blood coagulation time and its factors. Research Methodology: This research is a semi-experimental research in which 60 men and women completed written consent letter. All persons performed aerobic exercise for an hour every morning in 4 weeks. In the present study, aerobic exercise program included 10 minutes of warming up, 20 minutes of basic running exercises with intensity of 60 to 80% of maximum heart rate, and at the end, 10 minutes of cooling down. In this research, two blood samples were taken from all people 24 hours before exercise and 24 hours after one month of above-mentiones exercise. Except the samples for CBC, which needs immediately counting, other samples were stored in -70 degree centigrade until the time to analyze. For extraction of results the paired T test & T independent test were applied at a significance level of P<0.05. Findings:The results of the respective experiments show that aerobic exercise used in this study has a significant relationship with RBC, hemoglobin, hematocrit, platelet, iron, ferritin (P<0.05). Conclusion: The aerobic exercise used in this research is an energetic process. On the other side, it improves the immune system and reduces RBC and iron body stores trying to make it accecible for other tissues such as muscles that need in such exercises.
