Abstract

Abstract: Background and Purpose: Students of the University of Medical Sciences are directly concerned with doing hazardous work that has a high degree of risk in their careers and may be detrimental to themselves and those related to occupations and disciplines by neglecting and postponing work. Therefore, the study of the relationship between these two drivers is obligatory. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the connection between negligence and risk aversion in medical students. Materials and Methods: This is a basic science study in which 57 students of Gonabad University of Medical Sciences were selected and their risk taking status was studied using CGT risk assessment software. Also, their negligence was assessed using a negligence questionnaire. Taskman was appointed. Data were analyzed using SPSS02 software using One-Way Anova. Results: The results showed that, in the One-Way Anova test, the value of P-value for overspending in different disciplines was equal to 25770 (p> 2527), and this value was equal to risk taking in different fields of study With 25407 (p> 2527), it can be concluded that there is no meaningful relationship for work negligence and risk taking in different disciplines. Conclusion: In general, the results of this study showed that there is a significant negative relationship between negligence and risk taking among students of Gonabad University of Medical Sciences, despite the fact that students have different fields of study.
